She's a parrot.
I mean, she's a nice girl and all,
she's just a parrot.
She's all fancied up today--you know?--trying to fit in; but everything isshut off to her------
But that's not because she's a parrot.
She misunderstood her homework and
wasn't prepared for class today.
Maybe she's the only one who was stupid enough to misunderstand the homework------
But that's not because she's a parrot.
She feels worthless and insignificant------
but that's not because she's a parrot.
She tries hard and still fails------
but that's not because she's a parrot.
She doesn't fit in anywhere and tries so hard to------
but that's not because she's a parrot.
It's all because she doesn't [want] to be a parrot.
It's not because she already [is].
